More than theatre, a place to belong

As parents, we spend so much time trying to help our children discover what they love.

We sign them up for activities, cheer from the sidelines, and hope that one day they'll find the place where they truly come alive.

For some kids, that's the soccer field.

For others, it's the basketball court.

And for some...

It's the stage.

Over the past 20 years, Legacy Theatre Studios has had the privilege of working with thousands of young performers across our community. Some arrive bursting with confidence, ready to perform for anyone who will watch. Others quietly peek into the room, wondering if they'll fit in. We've welcomed energetic kids who simply needed a positive place to channel their creativity. We've watched shy students discover their voices. We've celebrated children who thought they weren't "good at anything" until they found theatre.

That's why Legacy Theatre Studios is about so much more than learning to sing, dance, or act.

It's about helping children become confident, creative, kind, and courageous.

Our classes are designed to meet students exactly where they are. Whether your child dreams of performing on Broadway or simply wants to make friends, build confidence, and have fun after school, they'll find a welcoming community that encourages growth instead of competition.

One of the things parents tell us most often is, "My child finally found their people."

There is something special that happens when creative kids discover a place where they are encouraged to be themselves. Friendships are formed. Confidence grows. Kids begin to believe in themselves in ways that carry far beyond the stage.

At Legacy, every child has a role to play.

While our students build valuable life skills each week, they also enjoy exciting opportunities to perform throughout the year. Legacy Theatre Studios students don't just rehearse in a classroom—they experience what it's like to be part of a thriving professional theatre.

Many of our students have the opportunity to perform alongside professional actors in Legacy Theatre's MainStage productions, gaining firsthand experience in a professional environment while learning from seasoned performers. They also star in their own fully produced youth productions each year, where they take center stage and showcase everything they've learned.

In addition, all students are invited to participate in our beloved Winter Spectacular and Spring Spectacular, exciting showcase performances that celebrate every student's growth and give families a chance to cheer them on under the stage lights.

These performance opportunities help students build confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience while creating memories they'll treasure for years to come.

Our experienced faculty doesn't just teach performance skills—they mentor, encourage, and inspire. Every class is filled with laughter, creativity, collaboration, and opportunities for students to grow both on and off the stage.

This fall, we're offering classes in:

• Musical Theatre
• Acting
• Improv
• Dance
• Voice

Classes are available for students ages 3–18, and beginners are always welcome. Whether your child has years of experience or has never stepped onto a stage, they'll find a place where they are encouraged, challenged, and celebrated.

Fall classes begin August 17, and we'd love to welcome your family into the Legacy community.

Students who are passionate about performing can also audition for Legacy Dream, our all-star theatre program. Legacy Dream offers dedicated performers additional performance opportunities, exclusive workshops with industry professionals, audition coaching, special events, and a community of young artists who inspire one another to dream bigger and grow together.
